   Summer reading kick-off day and registration!

   Our annual “lunch on the lawn” is back!  Lunch, reading packets, craft, and 

    enjoy Leia’s small animal petting zoo!

   Our fabulous magician Walt Woolbaugh!  Always a must!!!

 

-Tuesday, June 29th – 10:30am

   PBS’s Deanna Mydland will help us “act like a lizard” with STEM-based

   activities inspired by “Wild Kratts”, “Hero Elementary”, and more!

 

-Tuesday, July 6th – 10:30am

   We’ll have a visit from animals that have jobs!

 

-Tuesday, July 13th – 10:30am

   MT Dinosaurs 101: Museum of the Rockies tells us about some of the best

   dino discoveries in the state!  Craft included.

 

-Tuesday, July 20th – 10:30am

   We are livestreaming with ZooMontana!  We’ll meet some of the animals and

    hear all about them – you’ll get to ask questions.

 

-Tuesday, July 27th – 10:30am

    Last day of our summer programs!  Year-end prizes, special prize drawings,

   crafts, and ice cream treats!

Library Mobile App

Manhattan Community Library has a mobile app with the MT Shared Catalog for your use!  Available for IOS and Android, it makes it easy to use the library when you’re not there.  Browse the collection, get info on items, and even scan a book barcode to see if the library has it!  You can manage your account and link other family members to have instant access. In the app store, search for “Montana Shared Catalog” or download from this QR code:

MOBILE HOTSPOTS AVAILABLE TO  

   CHECKOUT AT THE LIBRARY!

Why would you use a hotspot?

  • Remote learners at home right now

  • Traveling without wifi for your cell phone or laptop

  • Interrupted wifi service at home

  • Out of data on your plan this month

  • Working from home temporarily - and many more reasons!

Wi-Fi hotspots are portable devices that allow for internet access to laptops, tablets, phones, and other devices without using your personal data plan.  They can connect your device to the internet wherever there is cellular service. 

 

    Manhattan Community Library currently has 5 hotspots.  Hotspots can be checked out for 14 days (to anyone 18 or older with a library card).  The service provider is T-Mobile and can be used in any area T-Mobile has coverage.  Multiple users on each hotspot. Call the library at (406)284-3341, ext. 1 to inquire about availability, reserve one, or any other questions.
